Last Friday the firstlight team had their paddles, balls and game faces at the ready and threw down at an epic table tennis tournament at The Book Club in Shoreditch.
The Schadenfreudes took great joy in defeating The 死のボール to make it to the semi-finals.
But the final show down saw The Balls of Fury (rumoured to be the tournament champions or so they thought) totally served by the evening’s dark horse: The Ping Pong Blondes.
It was a nail biting, white knuckled sweaty affair – the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of summer (we’re optimistic that it’ll show up at some point soon…).
