Sarah is a Senior Account Executive. Since joining firstlight in 2017, she has worked with clients across a variety of sectors, including HR and skills development, marketing and advertising, real estate, and hair and beauty.
Sarah currently works with eBay Advertising, lastminute.com group, City & Guilds Group, Quinyx and Salon Services, helping to manage campaigns and taking care of press office and speaker bureau activity. An avid linguist, Sarah speaks French and Spanish and previously worked as an editor for a publishing company in Madrid.
Keir is a Director with 15 years’ PR experience, during which he has helped tell the story of brands including LinkedIn, Lloyds Banking Group, Cable&Wireless Worldwide and Lloydspharmacy. He started in the not-for-profit sector, supporting charities with media work on a huge range of issues at a local, national and international level.
Before joining the firstlight family, he worked at a B2B agency specialising in workplace and employment issues. Clients included management consultancy Moorhouse, Hays, international leadership consultancy DDI and the Institute for Employment Studies. Keir currently leads firstlight’s work for CitySprint, City & Guilds Group and American Express.
Amelia is an Account Director at firstlight. Here, she specialises in the marketing and advertising sector, having helped launch lastminute.com group’s publisher business, ‘Travel People’ and build its profile across EMEA. Current clients include eBay Advertising and The Trade Desk, for whom she acts as a ‘hub’ managing agencies across Europe.
Prior to joining firstlight in 2015, Amelia worked at an integrated agency managing public affairs and PR campaigns for a variety of clients in professional services, retail, leisure, health and energy – including NHS England, the British Retail Consortium and Air Products.
Justin has been a director at firstlight since its foundation in 2009. He has over 25 years’ experience in corporate communications and reputation management, helping clients across a broad range of sectors to shape and tell their stories.
Justin has extensive expertise in real estate and financial services, creating and managing campaigns for some of the world’s leading players in these markets, such as Aberdeen Standard Investment, Aviva, Grosvenor and Hines. During his career, he has held senior roles in both agency and in-house.
Emma is an Account Director at firstlight, with experience managing clients across multiple disciplines. Emma has developed and activated integrated communications campaigns for businesses in a range of sectors - from transport and logisitcs to retail and advertising to professional services.
Emma's current client portfolio includes the City & Guilds Group, LinkedIn and Kantar Media. Prior to joining firstlight in 2015, Emma spent two years at Edelman, working across businesses in the consumer, corporate and B2B space.
Paul founded firstlight in 2009.
His 25-year career has seen him help some of the world's largest (as well as most nimble) businesses use communications to shape their growth agenda.
Electra is an Account Executive at firstlight with experience across a variety of sectors, including retail, finance, sustainability, beauty and logistics & transport. Current clients include CitySprint, Klarna, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) and Sally Salon Services.
Before joining firstlight, Electra worked at a charity PR agency on clients including the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust. Outside work, she loves reading, travelling and all things musical theatre-related.
Ursula is a senior account executive at firstlight, with corporate PR experience across a variety of sectors, including adtech, HR, and financial and professional services. Ursula’s current client list includes LinkedIn, DWF and The Trade Desk.
Before beginning her PR career with firstlight in 2017, Ursula worked for a small property company in Fitzrovia. Prior to this she worked for an office products company in Auckland, New Zealand.
Lauren is a Senior Account Manager with corporate PR experience across various sectors including aviation, energy, logistics and transport, and FMCG. Lauren is skilled in proactive and reactive media relations, including pitching national exclusives and responding to crises and issues.
Prior to joining firstlight, Lauren worked across B2B PR and public affairs, advising clients ahead of high profile select committees and implementing campaigns for clients such as Boeing, NHS England and the Diocese of London. Lauren’s current client list includes LinkedIn, CitySprint, JATO and Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR).
Kelly has been the Office Manager at firstlight since 2017. As well as ensuing the smooth running of the agency, she supports the HR, Finance and I.T functions.
Prior to joining the firstlight team, she enjoyed a varied career including stints as a business developer, kitchen designer, recruitment consultant and HR administrator. Outside of work, Kelly loves to travel and hitting the gym.
Anna is a Senior Account Manager at firstlight. Having started her PR career here, she’s spent the last four years working with global brands to deliver impactful communications programmes to B2B, corporate and consumer audiences.
She has helped design and launch international campaigns for leading professional and financial services organisations, with clients including LinkedIn, American Express and Grant Thornton. She also has experience in the travel, beauty, transport, technology and payments sectors.
Beth is an Account Executive at firstlight, having joined as an intern after graduating from the University of Nottingham. Beth specialises primarily in the transport and HR/employment sectors, working with clients such as Govia Thameslink Railway, JATO Dynamics, City & Guilds Group and Quinyx.
She's also a core member of the office social committee.
Cristina joined firstlight as an Account Manager in 2019, bringing corporate communications experience with global clients including McCain Foods and Oxford University Press. Following an early stint as a print journalist, Cristina made the switch to PR at Porter Novelli Australia where she developed a passion for media relations, stakeholder engagement, reputation management and content development projects.
Cristina has worked across various sectors including FMCG, agribusiness, health, education and tech. She prides herself on building trustworthy relationships with colleagues and clients alike, and is dedicated to delivering successful outcomes for clients.
Anna is a Director with experience developing and delivering global corporate campaigns across a range of sectors, including financial services, technology, retail, food and drink and marketing. At firstlight she leads on Klarna, Tink, IRU, and Criteo.
Before joining firstlight Anna spent five years at Cohn &Wolfe, overseeing Ferrero's corporate and public affairs strategy and running programmes for ScottishWidows and Lloyds Banking Group.
Martin joined firstlight in 2018, arriving with five years’ experience working primarily for clients in the financial services and professional services sectors. He has represented Aegon, LV= and Legal & General, designing thought leadership campaigns aimed at changing consumer behaviour.
More recently he has delivered multiple global corporate campaigns for UBS Wealth Management, managing content creation and media delivery teams in Europe, the United States and South East Asia. Martin also has extensive experience helping financial services companies create communications infrastructure from the ground up, including developing messaging and narratives.
Sam is an associate director in the firstlight team, with experience of leading a wide range of corporate, B2B and consumer-facing campaigns. At firstlight Sam has launched lastminute.com group's advertising business ‘Travel People’, led a programme for GTR highlighting the great people on the railways and designed PR campaigns for clients including American Express and Ageas.
Prior to joining firstlight, Sam oversaw PR and partnership campaigns for the Home Office’s Cyber Streetwise campaign and managed PR for BIS’ GrowthAccelerator programme. She has worked with a variety of clients in financial services, media & advertising and professional services.
Amrish is the Finance Director at firstlight, since October 2014. He is a Fellow of the ICAEW and spent over 20 years in Financial Services - across Gartmore Fund Management, Swiss Re, Fox-Pitt Kelton and Macquarie - before moving into consultancy and public relations.
His interests are hiking, for which he undertakes annual challenges to raise funds for charity, and conservation.
Andrew is an Account Executive specialising primarily in adtech and martech, working on clients such as The Trade Desk, Criteo and LinkedIn. Before joining Firstlight, he was based at a specialist tech agency where he managed French and German content and media relations across EMEA for clients like Fyber, Blis, and data.
Outside of the office, Andrew spends his time feeding his news addiction, reading up a storm, and working (slowly) on his novel.
A seasoned Account Manager, Chantal joined Firstlight in February 2018 with four years of diverse PR experience. Having worked in both large and small agencies, she has handled large scale press office activity for the likes of Klarna, LinkedIn, and LendIt Europe.
In addition, she has helped small scale start-ups carve their niche in the competitive tech media, working with artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud based businesses. When not engrossed with clients or the ever unpredictable world of technology, Chantal enjoys planning extravagant holidays and drinking cheap white wine.
Isobel is an Account Executive at firstlight. Before joining the team Isobel was based at a tech and investment agency, focusing on the cybersecurity sector with clients such as FireEye, Censornet and Positive Technologies. She also worked with VC clients including Jaguar Land Rover’s InMotion Ventures and Parkwalk Advisors.
Outside of work, Isobel’s hobbies lie in all things artistic - not much makes her happier than watching a really good sunset, then going home to paint it.’
